With the issues which now face the equid family (and some closely associated species) it is both urgent and important to create a vehicle tasked with helping to reverse the downward trend in both numbers and habitats.

The Wild Equid Protection Trust is a UK registered charity which has just such purpose.

By drawing from the very best of existing knowledge, funding co-ordinated new quality research and providing opportunities to discuss results and conclusions at conferences, it aims to motivate practical and funded plans for both animals and habitats.
